Methods and steps:
(1) The depth scale must be adjusted to the "0" position, and the two switches of the lens and the grinding wheel are in the OFF position.
(2) Use the accessory water dispenser to fully moisten the cooling sponge block with water.
(3) Clamp the lens as required to lower the machine head to the operating position, release the guide arm, the lens falls between the two nylon guide wheels, above the cutting wheel, turn the lens switch to the ON position, and make the lens rotate 1/4 turn Check to make sure it is in the proper position between the rollers, then turn on the cutting wheel switch, and finally adjust the depth dial to fix it at the position you set.
(4) After about 40s, the cutting sound will change, indicating that the lens slotting has been completed, then turn off the cutting wheel switch and the lens rotation switch, raise the machine head, and remove the lens.
(5) Check whether the groove depth and groove width of the lens meet the standard, especially whether the groove depth matches the position you set on the depth dial. If there is a deviation, the depth scale should be adjusted until it meets the requirements.
